New Urban Progress at DAIS: Developing a Future Vision for German and U.S. Cities

Full house the DAIS-Headquarters on October 19! More than 20 project fellows stopped at DAIS in Leipzig on their New Urban Progress tour through Germany with Das Progressive Zentrum Berlin, Alfred Herrenhaus Gesellschaft, and the Progressive Policy Institute. They joined us to learn more about the city’s and region’s position and relevance for transatlantic exchange.

Together, we discussed the role of city partnerships in shaping the future of democracy, cultural exchange, but also in addressing the climate crisis, technological and economic change, and the importance of young people’s voices in those debates.

Thank you, New Urban Progress, for your visit! We’re looking forward to more insightful discussions in the future.
