Interpreting the U.S. Midterm Results and What This Means for Future Policy

On November 26 DAIS and LaSuB are hosting teachers from across Saxony for their annual teacher training day.

Speakers will look at the results of the U.S. midterm elections and how these can be taught in a classroom setting. There will be a focus on media competencies as well as understanding the U.S. electoral system and policies that will arise out of the election results.

The results will directly influence the power of Congress as a check and balance for the executive and judicial branches of government.

Additional support will be given to teachers regarding resources and classroom materials.
