Leipzig students discuss the role of political humor in presidential elections

On May 17, 2024, DAIS hosted a roundtable discussion on the role of the media and political humor during presidential elections with US Fulbright Professor Stephen Farnsworth, currently on a Fulbright at the Uniwersytet Warszawski (Poland), moderated by Fulbright Alumnus Dr. Sebastian M. Herrmann and coordinated by DAIS’s Executive Director Eric Fraunholz, who is also a Fulbright Alumnus.

The event was a collaboration between Fulbright Germany, DAIS, and the American Studies Department of Leipzig University.

12 students from the University of Leipzig joined the discussion at the DAIS workshop space.
