Erica Larson Bautze is Deputy Director at the German American Institute Saxony. She hails from the Midwest (born in Chicago, grew up in Northwestern Wisconsin) and came to Germany as a CBYX-er. Erica studied political science, American Studies, and education at Leipzig University and began her career by instructing at Leipzig University and German Telecom institutions of higher education. She started in the EducationUSA program at DAIS in 2019 and has since taken over directing educational programming.
