On February 24, 2023—marking one year since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine—DAIS will hold a panel discussion to consider the social and cultural disruptions wrought by the war. Women in war will be one thematic focus, as women’s perspectives on war often remain underexposed. Furthermore, panelists will discuss experiences of displacement, changing notions of security, and how the war and its ramifications are perceived in regions such as eastern Germany.
Panelists:
Lisa Füchte
(Moderator, GWZO Leipzig)
Dr. habil. Anna Gaidash
